When we met with Quentin we had a dead lawn. We wanted a garden, which was low maintenance and meets Melbourne water restriction requirements. Having three young children we were after a garden with children’s play area and paths. The garden provides interest, colour and texture all year around. The space is a great for our children and our family.

After meeting with Quentin and outlining to him what we were looking for in our garden we have found the results fantastic. After building a brand new home and starting from scratch we really didn’t have any prerequisites other than we needed something looked nice and was low maintenance as our lifestyles weren’t focused around spending hours in the garden each weekend. Quentin completed some drawings for us and then we began the garden. We’ve had the garden in now for roughly 8 months and we couldn’t be more happy. It’s looking fantastic. It’s very little maintenance, it is growing well even with water restrictions in place and most of all makes the house look and feel so much better. We are very happy.

Our garden was worse than average when we enlisted the help of Q Gardens.  We had almost no private outdoor space and the plant selection of the previous owners left a lot to be desired.  We came to Quentin for some inspiration and advice on plants that would thrive in our conditions.  We are so delighted with the creativity of Quentin.  It has transformed a very average garden into a beautiful oasis.  We now have a glorious green and lush private outdoor space surrounding our house.  The plants are interesting but extremely tough and the Sir Walter Buffalo tops of the yard.  Its so good now its hard to remember what it used to be like.

I had an idea that the garden at the church should be functional, inspirational, a place of healing and also welcoming for everyone. I shared this vision with Quentin and I was delighted to see his eager response. Quentin inspired and encouraged others in the church and together they started construction of the most wonderful place that fits the criteria that I believe God wanted for the church. The workmanship is a testament to Quentin’s talent, his imagination, his ability to produce a place of beauty that will bring pleasure to many. I highly recommend Quentin.

Quentin has developed a beautiful outdoor space for me to enjoy in my retirement. I spend many hours in my tranquil, very private space.
Quentin has amazing ability to come to know what is just right to plant ( or remove ) to creat a picture of tranquility and interest.
His use of a variety of native trees, shrubs, grasses and flax make for peaceful days and happy evenings relaxing in  summer or  winter. There is nothing like sitting on the deck, watching the lovely sunset and taking refreshment.

We engaged Quentin at Q Gardens & Designs to assist with the presentation of our property in Pascoe Vale for sale. Quentin did a great job; he was able to promptly deliver a selection of pots, outdoor furniture and plants at short notice. He rejuvenated both the front garden and back courtyard, and arranged the pieces he supplied to very good effect. We are confident this made a significant difference to the sale price we achieved and we would not hesitate to use Q Gardens for plant hire again.
